Will push-ups really tone me up?

I turned 19 on June 16th, I weigh ~100lbs. and am about 5ft. 1in. I know, I'm really small. However, I recently started doing intense workouts. I have no equipment--only these push-up bar... things and an exercise ball, but it's starting to lose air. I usually only do calf raises, crunches (on floor and on ball), and push-ups in hopes of toning my body. I don't want to look like an ugly bodybuilder that's waaay jacked up. I just want to look tone, but still thin. I don't have much food around the house everyday to freely eat whenever I want to and whatever I want to. More specifically, I want to look like the typical Muay Thai fighter/martial artist. Well, I kinda do right now, but I want more muscle mass.
