My dog is waaay over protective. pleasee help!?

i have a 10 month old french bulldog. He is way over protective of me. He tries to bite my boyfriend a lot. He used to love him a lot. And he still does butt when he tries to kiss me, put his arm around me, touch me in anyway, or lay on me, he tries to bite him. We smack his butt, put him in his bed, butt he still tries to bite him. And if my boyfriend tries to like push him off the bed he will freak out and try to bite him. What can i do?? Please help??? I know we should have trained him earlier butt we didnt know. And we cant get him neutered.
