Minecraft help????????????????????

so I was playing minecraft with the "NOW thats what i call minecraft" mod and I shot 2 fire arrows at a sky pirate... missed... and hit my wooden village! so a fire started and I was going to be able to save half the building by putting water down and putting some of the fire out. as I was "firefighting" it exited out of my game and said "saving chunks" and then the screen went black. I can play any other world besides that one. what should I do?
