Why does my battery meter still jump with a capacitor?

im pushing a 12" and 2 8" through a 760 watt amplifier and the battery meter jumps when the bass hits, so i got a 1 farad capacitor and the meter still jumps with the bass, as well as the lights dimming. can anyone explain how to fix this?
