I am in need of a replacement capacitor for a Grundfos submersible sump pump model : kp300. It runs on 120 vac?

9.0 amps/single phase. The old capacitor has no markings on it to identify it and Grundfos Corp. tech line was unable to give me the spec's on the capacitor. Is there any way that i can determine the spec's on a replacement generic start capacitor based on the info. I have given you? i.e. micro-farad rating, type of capacitor needed and any other pertinent info. that i would need in order to purchase a replacement generic capacitor for this pump.
