How long will it take for my hair to grow 1/2 an inch? [Read inside]?

Hair on average grows 1/2 inch per month but I hear if you treat your hair especially well and maintain a good diet it might grow faster. If you really hair your short hair try getting extensions. Also, I hear there are products that supposedly help your hair grow faster. Check on youtube for them.
