Can a 1.0 Farad Capacitor work in the house?

Like i have 2 12 subs sony xplod running right now with an amp powering 2k watts pioneer do you think if i buy this 1.0 farad capacitor would work in the house im buying it cause it gives more power to your system to bum harder is it true.
